Issue #3 shall be out soon, this Saturday, as usual. I crashed my Aether world as I hacked and indestructible block (you know, the one that spawn sentries in the dungeons, id 186) and it remained stuck in my house until I tried a Worldedit super pickaxe. Then boom. Saving chunks, then crash, then on whenever I loaded the world, boom. Saving chunks, then crash. But the good news is, Mcedit shall be Aether-compatitable soon!
EDIT: FIXED IT! WOOHOO! Well, not by me, by someone on the forums. I'm behind typing schedule, better start typing.
